What Equipment Do I Need for the Custom 3 Month Workout Plan?Before purchasing the custom-designed workout plan offered by Finish Well it is essential for participants to be aware of the necessary equipment required to effectively implement the program. You must have access to the following equipment: 1. Treadmill: A treadmill is required for certain cardiovascular exercises and interval training included in the workout plan. 2. Dumbbells: Dumbbells are essential for strength training exercises targeting various muscle groups throughout the program. Specifically, a light to medium set for shoulders and a heavy set for large muscle groups like chest, back, glutes and legs. Personally, I can train effectively with 3 sets of dumbbells: a 5-8 pound set, a 10 pound set and a 15 pound set. 3. Weight Vest or Loaded Backpack: A 15 pound weight vest or a loaded backpack is necessary for adding resistance to certain exercises, enhancing intensity, and promoting progressive overload to prepare for your hike. Failure to possess the required equipment may limit your ability to fully engage in the workout plan and may impact the effectiveness of your training experience.

How Does Your Waitlist Work? Do I Need to Pay a Deposit?Is your desired trip full? We encourage you to still register for the waitlist. If a participant cancels, we will give you a call or email to see if you are still interested. There is no deposit required to be put on the waitlist.

How Many Women are on Each Trip?Typically, we run our adventures with 10-12 women.

What if I'm Traveling by Myself?Many, if not most, women will come on our trips without knowing anyone else. If you want a room to yourself, we’re glad to arrange it, pending availability. For our standard double accommodations, we'll arrange a roommate for you. If you sign up with a friend and want to be sure you share a room for the entire trip, just let us know and we’ll take care of it!

Do I Need Any Special Gear or Equipment?Depends! Daypacks are required and trekking poles are optional, and both can be the most expensive items required. Sufficient water (hydration bladders or water bottles) is a priority as well. Each trip has a customized, detailed packing list.
