This October, a small team of hikers will take on one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences in the country: a Rim-to-River-to-Rim hike through the Grand Canyon. But this isn’t just about the miles we’ll cover. It’s about the lives we’re walking for.

• Hardship grants for immediate needs like funeral expenses, meals, childcare, and home care

• Workshops that equip widows with tools for managing finances, parenting through grief, navigating life after loss, reentering the workforce and stepping into new responsibilities with confidence—from home maintenance to day-to-day decision-making

• Retreats that provide rest, healing, group counseling and community (with a growing waitlist each year)

• Outdoor experiences that foster deep and lasting healing

• Youth programs like Compass, supporting boys who have lost a father, with future plans to expand to girls
